Job Title
Senior Post Silicon Low Power Integration Engineer
Role Summary
Join the NVIDIA Silicon Co-Design Group to scale low-power silicon validation and system bring-up for next-generation AI and accelerated computing platforms. The team builds methodologies, telemetry, firmware hooks, and automation that move low-power features from architectural intent through silicon bring-up to production readiness.
This role focuses on AI-powered analytics, telemetry pipelines, automation, and modern debug workflows to improve power validation, workload characterization, and cross-generation debug correlation.
Experience Level
Senior β requires 10+ years of experience in silicon characterization, low-power feature validation, system integration, or post-silicon productization.
Responsibilities
Accountable for defining and executing scalable low-power validation and observability across platform generations.
- Define power & performance validation strategy, including power targets, rail budgets, and validation methodologies across product lines.
- Build workload characterization frameworks using telemetry, behavioral clustering, and AI-assisted analytics.
- Specify instrumentation, counters, telemetry frameworks, and firmware hooks to enable scalable silicon observability and automated validation.
- Bring up and validate system-level low-power features in pre-silicon and post-silicon environments using automation and data-driven methodologies.
- Develop AI/ML-assisted infrastructure for telemetry analysis, anomaly detection, predictive validation, and automated triage.
- Partner with architecture, firmware, DV, HSIO, system integration, and data infrastructure teams to build validation pipelines and dashboards.
- Support manufacturing and customer-facing teams in resolving production and feature issues using telemetry-driven insights and automated analytics.
- Drive low-power feature readiness from early architecture definition through silicon bring-up, validation, and product release.
Requirements
Must-have technical skills and experience for immediate contribution.
- 10+ years of experience in silicon characterization, low-power validation, system integration, or post-silicon productization.
- Deep understanding of silicon power behavior, OS low-power states (Windows/Linux), firmware interactions, and system-level validation methodologies.
- Experience building scalable automation, telemetry analytics, or AI-assisted engineering workflows for silicon validation and debug.
- Strong EE fundamentals: digital design, computer architecture, power analysis, statistics, and scripting/programming.
- Hands-on experience with silicon bring-up, lab validation, debug methodologies, and hardware lab instrumentation.
- Familiarity with AI/LLM-assisted engineering workflows, intelligent automation frameworks, and data-driven debug infrastructure.
Nice-to-have
- Applying AI/ML or LLMs to validation, telemetry analytics, or debug automation.
- Experience with platform power management technologies such as S0ix, ASPM, RTD3, or Memory Self Refresh.
- Experience building large-scale telemetry pipelines, automated dashboards, or observability infrastructure.
- Strong Python, data analytics, and automation framework development skills.
- Experience working across architecture, firmware, validation, and manufacturing to drive production readiness.
Education Requirements
BS or MS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
