Senior PCIe Post-Silicon Validation Engineer
Role Summary
The Senior Post-Silicon Validation Engineer is responsible for validating features on silicon using hands-on lab equipment, and working multi-functionally with ASIC, Software, and System teams to ensure the correctness of the design.
Experience Level
Senior level, with 5+ years of meaningful validation experience.
Responsibilities
Key responsibilities include:
- Implementing designs for leading processors in deep learning, gaming, and dedicated computing.
- Validating features on silicon using laboratory equipment.
- Understanding design and implementation to define validation scope and develop verification infrastructure.
- Working collaboratively with various teams to accomplish tasks.
Requirements
Must-have qualifications include:
- BS or MS in Electrical Engineering, Electrical and Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of validation experience.
- Exposure to design and verification tools (e.g., VCS or equivalent).
- Experience with bus protocols (e.g., PCI Express, SATA, USB) or interconnect verification.
- Familiarity with lab equipment including oscilloscopes and logic analyzers.
- Expertise in Python and/or Perl.
- Strong debugging and analytical skills.
- Good interpersonal skills and a desire to collaborate effectively.
Education Requirements
BS or MS in Electrical Engineering, Electrical and Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
