Role Summary
Lead New Product Introduction (NPI) activities for high-performance analog and mixed-signal semiconductor ICs, driving programs from concept through full-volume manufacturing. Work inside a cross-functional NPI Product Engineering team to define DfT/DfM, lead characterization and ATE correlation, optimize yield and test cost/time, and ensure product release quality.
Experience Level
Senior β expects experienced engineer; hiring guideline indicates 8+ years of relevant work experience.
Responsibilities
Accountable for technical leadership of NPI programs and ensuring products meet specifications and transfer smoothly to manufacturing.
- Lead NPI programs from concept to final product release, prepare manufacturing transfer documentation, and track program milestones.
- Coordinate across Design, Test, Characterization, Validation, Quality, Reliability, Applications, Operations and external OSATs/foundries.
- Define and enforce Design for Testability (DfT) and Design for Manufacturability (DfM) requirements; support ATE test development and optimization.
- Plan and execute wafer-level and bench characterization across PVT; perform ATE-to-bench correlation and PCM/process capability analysis.
- Run statistical analysis and Design of Experiments (DOE) to diagnose yield limiters, reduce test time, and improve test coverage and yield.
- Drive failure analysis, root-cause resolution, corrective actions for field returns, and continuous product/process improvement.
- Mentor junior product engineers and communicate technical status to stakeholders and management.
Requirements
Core technical skills and domain experience required or strongly preferred.
- Must-have: Experience in semiconductor product, test, or design engineering; experience with quality systems, corrective actions, and failure analysis.
