Senior Modeling Engineer

Role Summary

The Senior Modeling Engineer will be part of the Aerospace and Defense Group at Analog Devices in Bangalore, India. This role focuses on developing next-generation high-speed RF products and requires collaboration with teams in digital, analog, and mixed-signal design.

Experience Level

Mid-level, with 3 to 7 years of relevant industry experience.

Responsibilities

Key responsibilities include:

• Lead the definition of modeling requirements based on system and architecture specifications.
• Collaborate with system architects, design engineers, verification teams, software developers, and product evaluation engineers.
• Develop and optimize high-level models using SystemC, C++, Python, or other modeling frameworks.
• Integrate models into simulation environments for advanced performance and functional analysis.
• Drive model-based design and verification activities.
• Analyze simulation results and provide actionable feedback.
• Maintain, update, and enhance models in response to evolving requirements.
• Document models for reuse and scalability.
• Conduct regression testing to ensure long-term model reliability.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to best practices.

Requirements

Must-have skills and qualifications include:

• Degree in Electrical, Electronics, or Communication Engineering (ME/M.Tech/BE/B.Tech).
• Strong foundation in signal processing concepts.
• Proficiency in C, C++, SystemC, and MATLAB.
• Familiarity with Python and the Pytest framework.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Nice-to-have skills include:

• Experience with RF systems and mixed-signal design.
• Hands-on expertise with advanced simulation tools.
• Familiarity with Agile development practices.

Education Requirements

Master's or Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics, or Communication Engineering is required.
