Job Title

Senior Memory Controller Verification Engineer

Role Summary

Senior verification engineer on the Tegra SoC Memory Subsystem IP verification team. Partner with design and architecture teams to define verification approaches, implement and run test plans, maintain regressions, close coverage, and sign off on functional correctness and performance of memory subsystem IP.

The role contributes to multiple product lines including consumer graphics, autonomous vehicles, HPC, cloud computing, and AI.

Responsibilities

Primary responsibilities include building verification infrastructure, executing test plans, and ensuring coverage and performance validation for memory IP.

  • Develop verification infrastructure: testbenches, BFMs, checkers, monitors, and randomized stimulus.
  • Create, review, and drive execution of feature and performance test plans.
  • Implement and maintain regression suites and close code and functional coverage.
  • Collaborate with FPGA and software teams to enable software testing of the IP.
  • Participate in post-silicon verification and hardware debug.

Requirements

Must-have skills and experience followed by useful additional skills.

  • Must-have: 3+ years of ASIC verification experience on complex design units; strong attention to detail, teamwork, and problem-solving.
  • Must-have: Experience with simulation and debug tools (e.g., VCS or equivalent; Debussy, GDB).
  • Must-have: Experience with SystemVerilog and UVM-based verification methodology.
  • Nice-to-have: Strong C/C++ programming skills.
  • Nice-to-have: Prior design or verification experience with dynamic memory controllers (DDR2/3/4/5, LPDDR2/3/4/5/6).
  • Nice-to-have: Scripting experience (Python, Perl, shell) and strong debugging skills.
  • Nice-to-have: Experience enabling FPGA and software teams; effective interpersonal and team collaboration skills.

Education Requirements

BS or MS degree, or equivalent practical experience (the posting explicitly lists "BS / MS or equivalent experience").
