Senior Member of Technical Staff, Advanced DRAM Overlay Engineer

Responsibilities
The role combines technical leadership, hands-on development, and cross-functional collaboration to advance overlay capabilities for bonded wafers.
- Own the overlay roadmap, including bond overlay technologies and scaling requirements.
- Define overlay specifications, error budgets, mark strategies, and technical signoff criteria.
- Develop overlay solutions that meet performance, yield, manufacturability, and scaling targets.
- Advance overlay metrology, automation, process control, modeling, and analytics capabilities.
- Apply simulation, AI/advanced analytics, and experimental methods to accelerate learning and root-cause identification.
- Lead simulation and experimental process development; balance modeling with hands-on characterization.
- Create and maintain overlay error budgets, validation plans, experiments, and technical assessments linking process to device requirements.
- Solve complex overlay issues involving alignment, distortion, deformation, process interactions, and bonded wafers.
- Provide technical leadership across internal teams and lead supplier engagements for lithography, bonding, metrology, and automation.
- Communicate technical recommendations and risks to engineering teams and leadership; mentor engineers to build overlay expertise.

- Ability to translate technical findings into process improvements and clear roadmap recommendations.
- Nice-to-have: experience in DRAM or other memory device integration and familiarity with high-volume manufacturing environments and metrology tools.
