Job Title

Senior Manager, System Co-Design Manager - SCG Team

Role Summary

Lead Product Co-Design and Verification for Speed, Reliability, and Power Compliance within the Silicon Co-Design Group (SCG). Manage a multi-functional engineering team that defines verification methodologies, drives simulation-to-silicon correlation, and delivers test-chip and product roadmaps.

This role coordinates across architecture, chip design, productization, and leadership to ensure products meet silicon-out-of-lab (SOL) targets for performance, reliability, and power.

Experience Level

Senior β€” requires 12+ years of semiconductor design experience, including 5+ years in leadership or management roles.

Responsibilities

Core responsibilities include:

  • Define and drive system-level speed, timing, reliability, and power verification strategies and KPIs.
  • Lead verification activities and close-the-loop methodologies with chip design teams to meet SOL targets.
  • Plan and execute left-shift initiatives, prototype/test-chip programs, and demonstrations of future technologies.
  • Analyze complex features for cross-functional impacts and develop proposals to achieve design objectives.
  • Partner across NVIDIA organizations to align system design, operational benchmarks, and strategic policies.
  • Mentor and develop engineering staff; establish technical standards and best practices.

Requirements

Must-have technical and leadership qualifications:

  • 12+ years in semiconductor/VLSI design with a proven track record of leading technical teams and delivering results.
  • Deep experience in silicon speed, timing, reliability, and correlation methodologies; experience translating between design and silicon.
  • Hands-on experience with design and analysis tools such as SPICE, static timing analysis, and power analysis tools.
  • Demonstrated ability to define KPIs, closed-loop verification methodologies, and lead cross-functional verification programs.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and effective cross-functional collaboration.

Nice-to-have:

  • Experience with advanced process nodes (7 nm and below).
  • Background in GPU, CPU, or high-performance computing design.
  • Track record of technical innovation and publications.

Education Requirements

BS or MS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience. PhD in a related field is a plus. The posting explicitly allows equivalent experience in lieu of a degree.
