Responsibilities

Primary responsibilities include product strategy, market analysis, ecosystem engagement, and cross-functional leadership.

  • Own product business plans, product requirements documents, and competitive positioning for automotive wireless SoCs targeting vehicle access and related applications.
  • Define feature sets and drive trade-off decisions across BLE, UWB, and next-generation connectivity standards with systems, RF, digital, and analog engineering teams.
  • Maintain a data-driven product roadmap informed by customer needs, competitive dynamics, and technology evolution.
  • Conduct competitive analysis and track standards evolution (e.g., Bluetooth SIG, FiRa, Car Connectivity Consortium) to inform product differentiation.
  • Represent the company in standards bodies and translate consortium direction into product requirements and positioning.
  • Support worldwide sales, field application engineers, and business development with training, collateral, and demonstration strategies for customer engagements and design-ins.
  • Coordinate across hardware, software, IP acquisition, and validation teams to meet product-definition milestones and architectural decisions.

Requirements

Must-have skills, experience, and attributes for success in this role.

  • 15+ years' experience in semiconductor product marketing or product management with hands-on involvement defining wireless SoC or RF IC products (BLE, UWB, Wi‑Fi, Sub‑GHz, or similar).
  • Proven track record of driving business outcomes, revenue generation, and bringing products to market.
  • Experience creating product definitions and business plans; strong financial acumen for revenue modeling, forecasting, and margin analysis.
  • Ability to engage technically with architecture, design, and applications teams.
  • Familiarity with the competitive landscape in automotive connectivity semiconductors and ecosystem players.
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills for cross-functional leadership and external representation.
  • Employment stability, reliability, and integrity in prior roles.
  • Travel: approximately 0–25%.

Education Requirements

Required: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field. Preferred: MSEE or MSCS; MBA is a plus. (No explicit statement about equivalent experience was provided in the source.)
