Role Summary

Lead a distributed Process Integration (PI) organization responsible for defining standards, executing High Bandwidth Memory (HBM) New Product Introduction (NPI) across multiple sites, and driving consistent readiness and yield ramp to High Volume Manufacturing (HVM).

This role combines strategic PI governance, cross-site coordination, technical risk management, and scaling of operations to meet network-level ramp targets.

Experience Level

Senior-level. Typical background: 12–15+ years of semiconductor engineering experience with deep PI/NPI expertise.

Responsibilities

Accountable for PI strategy, execution, cross-site synchronization, and organizational leadership for HBM NPI programs.

• Define and implement PI strategy, standards, phase gates, and governance across HBM programs.
• Coordinate PI execution across multiple NPI programs to meet ramp targets and network-level milestones.
• Identify risks early, establish detection mechanisms, and drive mitigation plans for cross-site blocking issues.
• Lead and develop PI managers and senior engineers across sites, including succession planning and capability building.
• Provide top-level technical direction, sponsor multi-module problem-solving, and ensure structured root-cause analysis and corrective action closure.
• Align senior stakeholders on roles, decision ownership, and tradeoffs; communicate status and risks to executive leadership.
• Drive standardization of NPI execution models, metrics, reporting, and resource prioritization across sites.
• Promote adoption of AI-enabled tools for yield analysis, risk prediction, analytics, and automation in PI workflows.

Requirements

Must-have skills and experience for successful performance in this role.

• 12–15+ years of semiconductor engineering experience with demonstrable PI and NPI expertise.
• Proven leadership experience managing managers and cross-site teams.
• Track record of leading large-scale NPI implementation and yield ramp across complex, multi-site programs.
• Strong technical judgment in process integration, risk management, and structured problem solving.
• Excellent collaborator management and executive-level communication skills.
• Nice-to-have: experience with advanced packaging, HBM or 3D-stacked technologies, and scaling yields to high volumes at the network level.
• Nice-to-have: experience with data platforms, analytics (AI/ML), and automation initiatives.

Education Requirements

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
