Role Summary

Lead a GPU firmware engineering team responsible for boot and low-level firmware across NVIDIA GPU product lines. Own delivery, roadmap definition, inter-team integration, and firmware security for GPU startup software under tight time and storage constraints.

Responsibilities

Key responsibilities include:

  • Lead, plan, and execute development, debugging, and maintenance of GPU firmware across product lifecycles.
  • Drive firmware execution for multiple consumer product lines with aggressive schedules and delivery targets.
  • Define firmware feature roadmaps aligned to hardware and industry specification changes.
  • Design and direct implementation of boot software solutions in resource-constrained environments.
  • Collaborate with hardware, software, OS vendors, and business teams to deliver features from concept to production.
  • Improve engineering processes, build systems, and regression infrastructure.
  • Continuously evaluate and enhance firmware security and root-of-trust mechanisms.

Requirements

Must-have qualifications and skills:

  • 12+ years of software industry experience.
  • 6+ years leading teams developing device BIOS, firmware, or other low-level system software.
  • Proven expertise in C programming for low-level/system software.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; able to work cross-functionally with hardware and software teams.
  • Deep understanding of software development processes and delivery practices.
  • Collaborative, able to coordinate with OS and PC vendors and internal stakeholders.

Education Requirements

BS or MS degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field β€” or equivalent practical experience.
