Job Title
Senior Lead Engineer - Analog Validation
Role Summary
The Senior Lead Engineer for Analog Validation leads validation of analog circuitry and system-level analog KPIs across product platforms. The role defines test plans, automation, instrumentation readiness, and concise reporting to ensure silicon meets design and production requirements.
This role partners with design, architecture, firmware/software, product engineering, manufacturing and quality teams and reports program status to senior leadership.
Experience Level
Senior-level. Leadership and architect responsibilities; specific years of experience not stated.
Responsibilities
Primary responsibilities include planning and executing analog validation from device block level through system-level use cases, and standardizing methodologies across sites.
- Oversee analog block-level validation (PMU: LDO, DCDC, GDET, FRO, OSC, references; CGU: PLLs; ADC/DAC; WBIAS).
- Lead system-level validation and key customer MCU use-case validation.
- Develop and enforce robust test plans, coverage models, and sign-off criteria.
- Automate measurements, instrumentation control, and result reporting for high throughput.
- Drive ATE and bench correlation; ensure validation readiness for tape-out, risk production, and mass production.
- Define KPIs, set clear goals and execution frameworks, and provide regular program updates to senior leadership.
- Standardize validation methodologies across sites and collaborate cross-functionally.
- Identify and implement low-power optimizations to meet KPIs.
Requirements
Must-have skills and responsibilities summarized from the posting:
- Proven experience leading analog validation programs and teams.
- Hands-on experience with instrumentation, ATE, bench setups, and automation scripting.
- Experience with power-management blocks, PLLs, ADC/DACs and system-level analog validation.
- Ability to create test plans, coverage models, and sign-off criteria.
- Experience driving bench-to-ATE correlation and preparing validation readiness for tape-out and production.
- Strong cross-functional collaboration and program reporting skills.
Nice-to-have:
- Experience with low-power optimization techniques.
- Experience standardizing validation methodologies across multiple sites.
