The Senior Layout Engineer works closely with the Design, CAD, and Layout Manager in the development of Mixed-Signal and Analog Integrated Circuits. The role is responsible for independently executing layout tasks on integrated circuits.

Responsibilities
The Senior Layout Engineer will be responsible for:
- Estimating layout schedules.
- Placing devices according to matching requirements at the block level.
- Implementing blocks at the top level.
- Applying techniques for signal matching and shielding of sensitive nets.
- Managing pad and ESD rules and routing connections.
- Performing database DRC and LVS verifications.
- Coordinating chip tapeout per the company’s procedures.
- Maintaining a positive attitude.
Requirements
Must-have qualifications include:
- Experience in layout for Analog and/or Mixed-Signal Circuit Design.
- Ability to perform chip planning, estimating die size, and project scheduling.
- Capability to resolve DRC and LVS verification independently and manage tapeout processes.
- Familiarity with fundamentals of analog processes.
- Experience with Cadence and/or VIRTUOSO tools is preferred.
