Senior IP Product Engineer, AI Processor
Role Summary
Serve as the technical bridge between Tenstorrent's AI processor IP (AI processors, RISC‑V CPUs, chiplets) and customers, guiding integration into customer SoCs to ensure performance and timely delivery.
Hybrid role based in Toronto or Vancouver focused on customer integration, silicon bring‑up, system debug, and IP productization.
Experience Level
Senior-level. Guideline: 3–5 years of semiconductor industry experience; candidates at other levels may be considered during interview and offers will align with assessed level.
Responsibilities
Primary responsibilities include customer-facing technical support for IP integration and system bring-up.
- Act as technical lead for customer integrations of AI processors, RISC‑V CPUs, and chiplet solutions into SoCs.
- Drive silicon bring-up, system-level debug, and performance tuning across pre-silicon and post-silicon flows.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams (architecture, design, validation, software) to resolve integration issues.
- Create and maintain integration guides, reference flows, and customer-facing technical documentation.
- Provide customer training, technical guidance, and lifecycle support from integration through product ramp.
- Collect and relay customer feedback to influence product roadmap and IP productization decisions.
Requirements
Must-have technical skills and customer-facing experience.
- 3–5 years of experience in the semiconductor industry working on ASIC/IP integration or related roles.
- Hands-on experience with ASIC design flows and IP integration; familiarity with design views such as .lib, LEF, ICL, and PDL.
- Strong background with analog/digital design tools, silicon validation, and system-level debug.
- Proven customer-facing engineering experience with strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to debug complex system-level issues and lead silicon bring-up activities.
- Ability to translate technical problems into actionable guidance and build trusted customer relationships.
Nice-to-have: experience with RISC‑V, chiplet architectures, IP productization, and influencing product roadmaps.

Education Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related technical field is requested (posting specifies a degree in EE or related field).
