Senior IP Designer Engineer
Role Summary
Technical lead for Connectivity IP on Lattice FPGAs. Translate architecture and specifications into high-speed RTL implementations, optimize for performance, power, and area, and collaborate with validation, verification, and system teams.
Experience Level
Senior β minimum of 5 years of FPGA IP design experience.
Responsibilities
Core responsibilities include hands-on RTL delivery and cross-team technical leadership.
- Design and implement high-speed RTL for connectivity IP (focus on performance, power, and logic utilization).
- Perform logic verification, debug, and timing closure activities for IP blocks.
- Develop and maintain example designs, testbenches, and soft-IP packaging.
- Collaborate with architects, system validation, and interoperability test teams to validate IP on hardware.
- Provide technical leadership and mentor junior engineers on RTL design and verification practices.
Requirements
Must-have technical skills first; nice-to-have items noted.

Must-have: Hands-on FPGA RTL design experience with demonstrated ability in logic verification, debug, and timing closure.

Must-have: Programming skills in C/C++, Perl, Tcl or Python for automation and test development.
