Senior HSIO Validation Engineer

Role Summary

The Senior HSIO Validation Engineer will be part of the HW ArchDev team at NVIDIA's Silicon Solutions Group. This role requires an end-to-end view of the product development cycle, focusing on the architecture, validation, and product release phases.

Experience Level

Senior level, with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

The key responsibilities include:

  • Architecting and building system and platform level features to enhance performance and manufacturability.
  • Collaborating with various teams throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Defining roadmaps and conducting market analysis.
  • Supporting silicon bring-up, validation, and debugging.
  • Coordinating planning and implementation of interfaces for NVIDIA products.

Requirements

The must-have qualifications include:

  • BS or MS in Electrical/Computer Engineering or equivalent.
  • In-depth understanding of PCIe or similar protocols.
  • Excellent knowledge of signal integrity and high-speed/SERDES validation.
  • Proficiency with lab equipment and toolsets.
  • Strong scripting skills in Perl and Python.
  • Outstanding problem-solving and teamwork skills.

Education Requirements

BS or MS in Electrical/Computer Engineering or equivalent experience.
