Job Title

Senior HiTech/Semiconductor Partner Solutions Architect, AMER Partner Industry & Solutions

Role Summary

Provide technical leadership for AWS partner engagements in the Semiconductor and High‑Tech Electronics industry across the AMER region. Collaborate with consulting and technology partners to design, validate, and promote cloud solutions for chip design, EDA workflows, high-performance computing, storage, job scheduling, license management, and agentic AI in design and manufacturing.

Drive partner-led pipeline creation, lead technical validations (POCs/POVs), and act as a trusted technical advisor to partners, sales teams, and customers to accelerate cloud adoption.

Experience Level

Senior. Typical background: 5+ years in relevant technology domains and 5+ years working with semiconductor or OEM customers; experience in pre-sales, solution architecture, and partner engagement.

Responsibilities

Primary responsibilities include partner technical enablement, architecture guidance, and leading technical validation activities to demonstrate AWS value for semiconductor workloads.

  • Develop top-of-funnel sales opportunities with partners through technical discovery and solution validation.
  • Collaborate with Account Solutions Architects, Partner Development, Sales, and Business Development to accelerate partner solution adoption.
  • Run architecture workshops and produce reference architectures for EDA tool migration/optimization, HPC clusters, scalable storage, license management, and agentic AI adoption.
  • Lead technical validation activities (POCs/POVs) with partners and customers to accelerate deal progression.
  • Evangelize partner solutions internally and externally and position AWS as the preferred cloud platform for semiconductor and HiTech solutions.
  • Capture and document semiconductor-specific best practices and share feedback with AWS product and engineering teams.

Requirements

Must-have technical and domain experience required for success; preferred qualifications are listed separately.

  • Must-have: 5+ years in technology domain areas (software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics).
  • 3+ years designing, implementing, or consulting on applications and infrastructure.
  • 5+ years in IT development or implementation/consulting in the software or Internet industries.
  • 5+ years working directly with semiconductor or OEM customers on cloud and AI adoption.

Nice-to-have:

  • Experience working with consulting partners on solution alignment, account management, product/program management, and business development.
  • Deep industry knowledge of semiconductor and HPC providers and their partner ecosystems.
  • Experience in a technical pre-sales environment, progressing sales opportunities and maintaining pipeline hygiene.
