Job Title

Senior Hardware Program Engineer

Role Summary

Senior test-development engineer in the Operations group responsible for developing and validating production and characterization test programs for Marvell silicon. The role ensures product testability, verifies that devices meet specifications, and supports qualification and manufacturing transfer across sites.

Work closely with design teams on debug, characterization and production readiness; develop test hardware, test code, and new test strategies as needed.

Responsibilities

Principal duties include developing test programs, managing production testing, and improving yield and cost.

  • Develop production and characterization ATE test programs and associated hardware; define test requirements, methodologies, and strategies.
  • Collaborate with design teams from debug and characterization through full production.
  • Manage production test programs across multiple manufacturing sites and support new product qualification and transfer.
  • Identify and drive test cost reduction and yield-improvement projects.
  • Align and standardize test engineering systems and processes across manufacturing locations.
  • Create or update test code and strategies when existing equipment capabilities are exceeded.

  • Must-have: Hands-on experience with ATE testing, test methodology, silicon process knowledge, DFT/DFM, and high-speed digital testing; demonstrated semiconductor test engineering background.
  • Must-have: Ability to manage production test programs and work cross-functionally with design and manufacturing teams.
  • Nice-to-have: Experience with microprocessors or network processors.
  • Nice-to-have: Familiarity with Advantest test systems and software.

Education Requirements
