Role Summary
Develop and validate SoC and GPU boot and security software across Automotive, Embedded, and Data Center platforms. Work throughout the silicon lifecycle from pre-silicon simulation/emulation to silicon power-on bring-up, and collaborate with architecture, software, and hardware teams to ship production systems.
Experience Level
Senior β typically 5+ years of relevant experience.
Responsibilities
Main responsibilities include:
- Design, develop, and validate SoC and GPU boot and security software across multiple platforms.
- Participate in pre-silicon simulation/emulation and silicon power-on bring-up activities.
- Identify, debug, and resolve boot stack issues; ensure reliable operation.
- Collaborate with architecture, firmware, driver, and hardware teams to define and improve boot and security flows.
Requirements
Must-have:
- 5+ years of proven experience in relevant embedded/firmware/system software roles.
- Proficiency in bare-metal firmware development; experience with PCIe, ACPI, and ARM or RISC-V platforms.
- Familiarity with computer system architecture and microprocessor/microcontroller fundamentals (caches, buses, DMA).
- Expert-level C programming and strong debugging skills.
- Defensive and security-aware programming practices.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Nice-to-have:
- Experience with boot process intricacies on complex SoCs.
- Knowledge of GPU kernel drivers and firmware.
- Pre-silicon and post-silicon bring-up experience for complex SoCs.
- Experience using GenAI workflows for system software development and debugging.
- Experience working with third-party SoC vendors and their software.
Education Requirements
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or Computer Engineering β or equivalent practical experience.
