Role Summary
NVIDIA is seeking a motivated memory subsystem architect with a strong analytical background to contribute to GPU architecture advancements. The role involves performance modeling, simulation, and analysis of the memory subsystem as part of a collaborative team.

Mid-level, requiring 3+ years of experience in system-level architecture and performance issues.
Responsibilities
Key responsibilities include:
- Advancing GPU Architecture and Simulators, testing infrastructure, metrics, and compilers.
- Performance modeling and simulation to enhance memory system efficiency.
- Developing and debugging test plans and testing infrastructure.
- Conducting performance analysis and bottleneck analysis in memory subsystem units.
- Working with hardware models at various extraction levels to identify system bottlenecks.
- Collaborating across multifunctional teams including ASIC design and verification.
Requirements
Must-have qualifications include:
- Master's or Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience with system-level architecture and performance issues.
- Strong programming skills in C/C++ and exposure to Verilog/System Verilog.
- Understanding of memory architecture, caches, MMU, memory control, and interconnects.
- Experience with debugging and analysis using RTL dumps.
- Familiarity with performance simulators and pre-silicon performance analysis.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Education Requirements
Master's or Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field.
