Role Summary

Join NVIDIA's Hardware Infrastructure team to design and implement a next-generation event-driven data and visualization platform used by hardware engineers for real-time tracking, anomaly detection, AI agents, and verification workflows. The team builds high-availability services for streaming analytics, real-time data processing, and scalable web applications that support chip development and verification.

Experience Level

Senior-level engineer. Typical guidance: experienced engineer with multiple years of production full-stack and distributed systems experience (see Education Requirements for minimum years tied to degree).

Responsibilities

Design, build, and operate web applications, streaming data pipelines, and microservices to support verification and visualization use cases.

• Modernize front-end applications and deliver complex data visualizations for a large, diverse user base.
• Participate in full lifecycle development: design, testing, deployment, and production troubleshooting of Java stack web applications.
• Design and implement reliable, scalable microservices and AI agent integrations.
• Develop and optimize real-time data processing pipelines using Kafka Streams, Apache Flink, Spark Streaming, or similar technologies for high throughput and low latency.
• Collaborate with hardware engineering and verification teams to gather requirements and deliver usable UIs and services.
• Establish best practices for streaming architecture, schema management, data retention, caching, and platform observability (monitoring, logging, tracing).

Requirements

Must-have technical skills and experience.

• Strong experience with JavaScript/TypeScript and modern front-end frameworks for building complex data visualization tools and user-facing web applications.
• Proven expertise designing, building, and debugging distributed Java-stack applications, infrastructure, and microservices.
• Deep practical experience with Apache Kafka and building applications with Kafka Streams, Apache Flink, or other event-driven data pipeline technologies.
• Solid understanding of distributed systems principles, concurrency, data structures, and algorithms.
• Experience with scalable caching solutions, specifically Redis.
• Strong planning, presentation, and communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.

Nice-to-have:

• Experience with the Elastic Stack (Elasticsearch, Kibana, Logstash) for logging and analytics.
• Familiarity with agentic AI frameworks (e.g., LangChain) or integrating LLMs with real-time data streams.
• Experience with modern observability tooling (OpenTelemetry, Grafana).
• Containerization and orchestration experience (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Understanding of chip design processes and EDA verification workflows.

Education Requirements

BS degree (or equivalent practical experience) typically with 5+ years of relevant experience, or MS degree with 3+ years of relevant experience. The posting explicitly allows equivalent professional experience in lieu of a degree.
