Job Title

Senior FPGA Verification Engineer (UVM & SystemVerilog)

Role Summary

Work on verification of FPGA-based designs on an engineering team in Marlborough, MA. Develop and execute SystemVerilog/UVM verification environments to validate RTL and FPGA implementations and ensure functional correctness and coverage closure.

Experience Level

Senior β€” requires at least 8 years of relevant FPGA verification experience.

Responsibilities

Primary duties include:

  • Design, implement, and maintain SystemVerilog/UVM testbenches and verification components.
  • Create and run regression suites and automated tests to verify FPGA logic.
  • Develop functional coverage models and drive coverage closure.
  • Debug RTL and FPGA integration issues using simulation and lab hardware.
  • Collaborate with FPGA designers, RTL engineers, and system teams to define verification plans.
  • Document verification results and participate in design and verification reviews.

Requirements

Must-have qualifications:

  • Minimum 8 years of experience in FPGA verification and digital design verification.
  • Strong proficiency with SystemVerilog and UVM.
  • Experience verifying FPGA-based designs and working with simulation tools.
  • U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain/possess required DoD security clearance.
  • Strong debugging skills and experience with hardware bring-up and lab validation.

Nice-to-have:

  • Experience with scripting for automation (Python, Tcl, or similar).

Education Requirements

STEM degree required β€” e.g., Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or a related technical field (as stated in the posting).
