  • Create and maintain simulation and verification environments using HDL and verification methodologies.
  • Support verification using AMD (Xilinx) tools and vendor IP.
  • Integrate verification with embedded processors and system-level test scenarios.
  • Collaborate with design, systems, and test teams to flow down requirements and resolve issues.
  • Document verification results, issues, and design verification status.
  • Maintain regular, predictable on-site presence and safe work practices in labs, production floors, or cleanrooms as required.
  • Perform other duties as required to support program objectives.

Requirements

Must-have technical skills and attributes:

  • Practical FPGA verification experience and familiarity with HDL-based verification workflows.
  • Proficiency in VHDL and/or Verilog and SystemVerilog.
  • Experience with FPGA design tools and vendor toolchains.
  • Background in electronic systems or embedded systems and high-speed digital electronics.
  • Ability to interpret and flow down system/subsystem/board requirements.
  • Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills.

Nice-to-have:

  • Experience with Xilinx Vivado/Vitis, Mentor ModelSim/QuestaSim.
  • Familiarity with OVM/UVM verification methodologies.
  • Experience with high-speed interfaces (PCIe, Ethernet) and signal-integrity tools (HyperLynx).
  • Knowledge of DSP/signal-processing algorithms and cybersecurity topics.
  • Previous experience in space, aerospace, or other high-reliability applications.

Education Requirements

BS degree or higher in Engineering or a related technical field is required. Each higher-level degree (Master's, Ph.D.) may substitute for two years of experience. Related technical experience may be considered in lieu of formal education. Degree should be from an institution accredited by an agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education.
