Role Summary

Join a small engineering team building underwater audio technology. The Senior FPGA Engineer will design FPGA-based embedded systems, implement high-speed DSP algorithms in hardware, and develop custom IP and test utilities to move the product toward production.

Experience Level

Senior — 5+ years of FPGA engineering experience.

Responsibilities

The role focuses on FPGA development, digital logic design, DSP implementation, and verification.

• Design and develop embedded systems based on FPGA technology.
• Create synthesizable digital logic using Verilog/SystemVerilog.
• Implement high-speed DSP algorithms in FPGA logic.
• Develop custom IP cores from scratch.
• Use simulation tools and write custom test utilities for validation.

Requirements

Must-have technical skills and hiring constraints.

• 5+ years of FPGA engineering experience.
• Experience writing mathematical algorithms to run on a GPU in Windows.
• Proven experience with Verilog/SystemVerilog for digital logic design.
• Hands-on experience with C, embedded C, MATLAB, and/or Python.
• Authorized to work in the United States; employer will not provide visa sponsorship.

Education Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering required.
