Responsibilities
Provide end-to-end FPGA engineering from requirements through design, test, and board bring-up for intelligence systems.
- Design, simulate, and implement FPGA/SoC logic on Xilinx platforms.
- Participate in the full design lifecycle: requirements, architecture, implementation, verification, and hands-on board bring-up.
- Integrate third-party IP blocks and ensure correct interface operation.
- Implement and validate high-speed communications (Ethernet, serial) and signal-processing functions.
- Troubleshoot and resolve HDL- and system-level bugs discovered during hardware testing.
- Ensure designs meet applicable safety and performance requirements with traceability to system-level requirements.
Requirements
Must-have technical skills, security eligibility, and professional attributes.
- Strong digital circuit design skills and practical FPGA development experience.
- Proficiency in VHDL and/or Verilog.
- Experience with Xilinx SoC/FPGA platforms; familiarity with Vivado preferred; ModelSim or Quartus experience acceptable.
