Role Summary

Provide customer-facing hardware application support for Broadcom Ethernet switches, NICs, retimers and PHY products. Deliver system and PCB design reviews, signal integrity analysis, hardware debug and failure analysis to secure customer designs and support mass production.

Work closely with Sales and Marketing to achieve design wins, promote product adoption, and support revenue growth. Role requires hands-on debugging, cross-team coordination, business travel, and English communication.

Responsibilities

Primary responsibilities include customer technical support, design enablement, and ensuring successful product integration and production.

• Provide on-site and remote hardware application support for Ethernet switches, NICs, retimers and PHYs.
• Perform system-level design reviews and solution architecture for customer products.
• Conduct PCB review, signal integrity (SI) analysis, and layout guidance.
• Perform hardware bring-up, hands-on debug and root-cause failure analysis.
• Drive customers to production readiness and support mass-production transitions.
• Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and internal engineering teams to secure design wins.
• Document issues, test results and design recommendations for customers and internal teams.
• Travel to customer sites as required.

• Proven experience in hardware field application engineering or similar customer-facing hardware support roles (must-have).
• Strong hands-on debug skills and experience with PCB bring-up, test, and failure analysis (must-have).
• Knowledge of Ethernet switching, NICs, retimers, and PHY-level hardware and interfaces (must-have).
• Experience with PCB layout review and signal integrity analysis (must-have).
• Ability to communicate technical information clearly in English and work cross-functionally (must-have).
• Willingness to travel frequently for customer support (must-have).
• Experience driving products from design to mass production and collaborating with Sales/Marketing (nice-to-have).
• Experience with Broadcom products or similar semiconductor networking solutions (nice-to-have).
