Senior Failure Analysis Operations Engineer
Role Summary
Lead coordination of failure analysis (FA) activities for Arm's silicon across internal teams, external FA houses, third-party labs and OSATs. Ensure efficient execution of FA cases, provide technical troubleshooting and support for FA tools and lab operations, and drive process and readiness improvements.
Experience Level
Senior β minimum 8 years of experience in the semiconductor industry, preferably in failure analysis or a related role.
Responsibilities
Primary operational and technical responsibilities for FA program execution and lab readiness.
- Coordinate FA execution with external FA houses, third-party labs, OSATs and internal stakeholders, including aligning methodology and tracking issue resolution.
- Provide hands-on technical support for FA equipment, lab operations, and onsite troubleshooting.
- Support internal silicon and system-level FA cases through technical mentorship and case coordination.
- Drive FA process optimization, improve execution efficiency, and maintain lab operation readiness.
- Communicate FA status, findings and risks to cross-functional teams and partners.
