Job Title

Senior Engineer, Test Engineering - Product Development

Role Summary

Design and implement test solutions for high-speed mixed-signal integrated circuits (ADC/DAC) across the product lifecycle, from first-silicon validation through production release. Collaborate with Design, Product Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, and Reliability teams to ensure performance, quality, and manufacturability.

Experience Level

Senior-level. Typical background: 5+ years of relevant industry experience in test engineering for mixed-signal or analog integrated circuits.

Responsibilities

Deliver test hardware, software, and processes required to validate and transfer products into production.

  • Design and develop test solutions for silicon verification, characterization, qualification, and manufacturing of mixed-signal ICs.
  • Develop and debug cost-effective, multi-site test hardware and software for wafer probe and final test.
  • Define test schematics and partner with layout teams on PCB-based test hardware.
  • Correlate ATE data with bench measurements and implement test methods for evaluation and troubleshooting.
  • Support transfer of test solutions into high-volume manufacturing and work to maintain yield, quality, and production stability.
  • Contribute to Design for Test (DFT) planning and migration of solutions to ATE platforms.
  • Evaluate and support adoption of new test technologies and manage deliverables to product development timelines.

Requirements

Must-have technical skills and experience.

  • Proven experience developing test solutions for analog or mixed-signal integrated circuits.
  • Proficiency in object-oriented and scripting languages for test software development.
  • Hands-on experience with ATE platforms (e.g., Teradyne, Advantest).
  • Experience designing and debugging test hardware and PCBs.
  • Knowledge of silicon validation, characterization, and production test flows; ability to use statistical analysis tools for validation and test limits.
  • Experience supporting product qualification and production release processes.
  • Strong collaboration skills with Design, Product Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, and Reliability teams.
  • Willingness to travel up to 10%; standard day shift.

Nice-to-have: experience specifically with ADC/DAC test development, multi-site probe/final test, wafer probe methodologies, and migration of solutions to ATE platforms.

Education Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field with 5+ years of relevant experience, or a Master’s degree with 3+ years of relevant experience. Fields of study referenced: Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related technical disciplines.
