Senior-level. Years of experience not specified.

Responsibilities

Primary responsibilities include standard-cell design, characterization, modeling and automation:

  • Design and maintain standard cells for new DRAM products and process nodes.
  • Collaborate with DTCO to define standard-cell architecture for emerging technologies.
  • Characterize standard cells and develop timing/power models (liberty files).
  • Perform quality analysis of characterized models for performance, power and functionality.
  • Develop automation testbenches, flows and tools to increase efficiency and support data analysis.
  • Cooperate with international teams to develop flows and tools for standard-cell design.
  • Identify opportunities for AI-based automation in design and characterization and collaborate across teams to deploy validated, scalable solutions.

Requirements

Must-have and preferred technical skills and tooling experience.

  • Must-have: Good understanding of CMOS circuit design; good knowledge of CMOS device physics and layout; experience in standard-cell design, layout and verification; experience across the full standard-cell flow from DTCO/spec definition to library release; fine‑FET and planar process experience; RTL/GDS flow setup and block-level timing analysis experience; familiarity with timing and characterization tools such as PrimeTime and Solido Analytics; experience with analog/digital simulators (HSPICE, HSIM, Verilog HDL, FINESIM, Simvision); scripting and automation skills (Skill, TCL, Perl, Python); experience using AI-assisted tools for design and characterization with emphasis on correctness and validation.
  • Preferred: Experience with Synopsys EDA flow (ICC2), Cadence Virtuoso, characterization tools such as SiliconSmart or Liberate, and prior work on DRAM memory or analog blocks.
