Senior/Engineer, Shift Process, NTI Real Defect Analysis
Role Summary
Support real defect analysis (RDA) operations and metrology in Fab 10N/X, Singapore. The role focuses on recipe and tool optimization, recovery, and data-quality improvements to maintain tool availability and accurate lot measurements.
Work closely with HVM RAM, process owners and operations teams to implement procedures, best-known methods, and continuous improvement initiatives. The position requires shift work (day/night, including weekends).
Experience Level
Mid-level — 2–3 years of semiconductor manufacturing experience in RDA and related metrology operations; shift work required.
Responsibilities
Primary responsibilities include managing RDA tool operations, optimizing recipes and workflows, and supporting production recovery and data quality.
- Drive continuous improvement of RDA equipment applications and recipe setup to reduce Time-to-Recipe, improve repeatability, and enhance data quality.
- Support cost-saving and productivity initiatives through recipe reuse, best-known methods, and workflow optimization.
- Perform and support tool recovery after tool downs, upgrades, or excursions to restore availability and performance.
- Manage hardware logistics: tool access, scheduling, and cross-team coordination to minimize impact on lot execution.
- Optimize RAM tool performance and support RAM lot operations and cost-saving projects.
- Manage lot disposition and ensure accurate completion of lot measurements without quality errors.
- Coordinate with metrology and process teams to ensure procedures and actions meet specifications.
- Conduct training or briefings for operations teams on procedures and best-known methods.
- Track operational performance metrics and implement continuous improvement efforts.
- Adhere to safety procedures and area work rules; support additional assignments from supervisor.
Requirements
Must-have technical skills and operational experience relevant to RDA and metrology.
- Proficiency with RDA tools such as DF, Macro, SEM, E-beam, XRT, SAM.
- Experience in semiconductor manufacturing environments, specifically RDA and recipe/tool optimization.
- Experience with tool recovery, lot disposition, scheduling, and cross-team coordination.
- Ability to track and improve operational performance metrics and data quality.
- Ability to train operations staff and follow established safety and area work rules.
Education Requirements
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Nano-optoelectronics, or Materials Science as stated in the job posting.
