Role Summary

Responsibilities
Primary responsibilities include RTL implementation, performance analysis, and cross-team collaboration to deliver production-grade AI hardware.
- Implement and refine micro-architectural features for AI hardware IP.
- Develop and debug RTL in Verilog/SystemVerilog; interpret synthesis and timing reports.
- Analyze performance bottlenecks and propose power/area/frequency trade-offs.
- Collaborate with RTL, DV, performance, and physical design teams to evaluate design options.
- Debug RTL issues in simulation and, where applicable, support post-silicon debugging.
- Contribute to internal tools and flows to improve RTL development and verification productivity.
- Take ownership of assigned design tasks and drive them to completion through ambiguous problems.

- Strong foundation in digital design and micro-architecture.
- Hands-on RTL development and debugging experience, including clock/reset, power, boot, and debug logic.
- Proficiency writing Verilog or SystemVerilog and interpreting synthesis/timing results.
- Ability to analyze performance and suggest improvements balancing power, area, and frequency.
- Effective collaborator who can work across RTL, DV, performance, and physical design teams and take ownership of tasks.
Nice-to-have
- Experience with post-silicon debugging and performance validation.
- Background optimizing RTL for AI/ML workloads.
- Experience improving internal EDA tools, flows, or automation for RTL/performance work.
