Responsibilities
Key duties include hands-on device characterization, compact model development, and cross-disciplinary modeling work to support product and process development.
- Develop compact models for LDMOS, CMOS, BJT, diodes, resistors, and capacitors; emphasis on high-voltage devices.
- Characterize and model inter-device parasitics, including effects involving parasitic bipolar action and device coupling.
- Perform electrical measurements and instrumentation work; investigate instrument limits and measurement techniques.
- Develop and apply multi-physics models (electrical, thermal, mechanical) for device behavior.
- Model long-term device degradation for MOS and LDMOS devices.
- Collaborate with global modeling teams across locations and document technical results for design and process teams.
- Travel as required (approximately 10%).
