Senior Engineer, Production/Test Engineering
Role Summary
Work on production and test engineering for semiconductor products at the Bayan Lepas manufacturing site. The role focuses on yield improvement, test program migration, failure analysis, and test hardware/bench debugging to support manufacturing and qualification.
Experience Level
Senior — minimum 5 years of relevant manufacturing/test engineering experience.
Responsibilities
Key day-to-day responsibilities include supporting manufacturing test operations, diagnosing yield and quality issues, and developing test hardware and benches.
- Analyze and improve manufacturing yield; perform low-yield analysis and corrective actions.
- Support transfer and conversion of test programs from legacy testers to new tester platforms.
- Evaluate customer returns (RMA) and perform failure analysis.
- Dispose low-yield production lots, verify rejects, and determine root causes.
- Perform product bench test verification and ATE/bench fault isolation.
- Design, construct, and debug bench boards.
- Develop and troubleshoot test hardware.
Requirements
Essential and desirable skills for the role.
- Must-have: Experience in a manufacturing environment and at least 5 years of relevant experience.
- Must-have: Ability to work independently, take initiative, and manage multiple tasks.
- Nice-to-have: Familiarity with ATE platforms such as Advantest V93K or Teradyne.
- Nice-to-have: Proficiency in relevant programming languages for test development and automation.
Education Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Electronic and Electrical Engineering required.
