Job Title

Senior Engineer, IP Verification - Digital Design Verification

Role Summary

Work on RTL verification for DRAM and emerging memory IPs, owning verification strategy, testbench development, and coverage closure at the block level. Collaborate with design teams and international colleagues to ensure readiness for tapeout.

Experience Level

Senior. The posting specifies experience guidance: Bachelor's degree with 4–6 years' experience, or a Postgraduate degree with 2–4 years' experience.

Responsibilities

Key responsibilities include planning and executing block/chip RTL verification and delivering verification readiness metrics.

  • Define verification scope, strategy, and plans for block/chip RTL verification.
  • Develop, execute, and maintain SystemVerilog/UVM testbenches and test vectors.
  • Run directed and constrained-random tests and regressions; analyze results and triage failures.
  • Close functional and code coverage; identify verification holes and drive fixes toward tapeout readiness.
  • Simulate, analyze, and debug block-level RTL; develop testcases to increase functional coverage across DRAM architectures and features.
  • Develop and maintain regression flows and collaborate with international teams on new verification flows for DRAM and emerging memory designs.
  • Debug RTL/testbench/environment issues and partner with design engineers to identify root cause and implement fixes.
  • Provide verification status, risk summaries, and progress updates to stakeholders; drive action closure.
  • Proactively explore and adopt approved AI-related tools to support verification workflows, scripting, and methodology improvements while retaining technical responsibility for decisions.

Requirements

Must-have technical skills and experience.

  • Hands-on RTL verification experience using SystemVerilog and UVM at block level.
  • Experience with digital simulation and debug tools (e.g., Xcellium, Simvision, Verdi/Verisium).
  • Strong RTL and testbench debugging and root-cause analysis skills.
  • Practical scripting skills in Python and Perl for testbench automation and tooling.
  • Previous work experience in DRAM or related memory design fields.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.

Education Requirements

Bachelor's degree required with 4–6 years of relevant experience, or a Postgraduate degree in Electronics Engineering or a related engineering field with 2–4 years of relevant experience. (This education requirement was removed from the Requirements section to avoid duplication.)
