Senior Engineer - HBM Verification
Micron TechnologyJob Title
Senior Engineer - HBM Verification
Role Summary
Lead verification and end-to-end analysis of complex full-chip HBM and emerging memory builds. Work with global development and verification teams to define verification approaches, simulate and debug pre-silicon full-chip builds, and improve verification methodology.
Responsibilities include defining verification scope, developing test benches and test vectors, running regressions and coverage analysis, and applying automation/AI to verification and related processes.
Experience Level
Senior-level. Requires more than 5 years of pre-silicon verification experience.
Responsibilities
Primary responsibilities include:
- Define and lead verification approach for assigned projects and areas of expertise.
- Simulate, analyze, and debug pre-silicon full-chip builds for HBM and emerging memories.
- Design test cases and stimuli to broaden functional coverage for HBM architectures and features.
- Develop and maintain verification environments, test benches, and test vectors; run regressions and perform coverage analysis.
- Collaborate with international teams to build new verification flows for HBM and emerging memory challenges.
- Contribute to verification methodology and environment development for advanced memory products.
- Apply AI to automate technical and non-technical verification tasks and improve efficiency.
Requirements
Must-have skills and experience:
- More than 5 years of pre-silicon verification experience.
- Proficiency in establishing and simulating verification environments and using simulation tools.
- Strong understanding of basic digital circuits, simulation, troubleshooting, and evaluation.
- Demonstrated ability to manage and steer verification processes within defined areas of knowledge.
- Experience crafting test cases and stimuli to increase functional coverage.
Nice-to-have:
- High-level understanding of UVM.
- Knowledge of DFT features (custom DFT and standard scan chains).
- Exposure to timing and data-path timing analysis.
- Experience with end-to-end analysis of complex full-chip custom projects focusing on power, performance, and bandwidth.
- Experience using AI to drive verification automation and efficiency.
Education Requirements
BE or MTech in Electronics Engineering or a related field (as listed in the posting).
