Role Summary

This position involves integrating Arm IP RTL and SoC designs for FPGA prototyping. Responsibilities include RTL integration, design modifications, simulation, and validation on hardware.

Mid-level with 4 to 8 years of experience.

Responsibilities

The main responsibilities include:

  • Developing and verifying subsystems, peripherals, and IPs for FPGA prototyping.
  • Modifying ASIC RTL for a dedicated FPGA prototyping platform.
  • Debugging test failures while collaborating with design teams and FPGA users.

Requirements

Essential skills include:

  • Strong RTL skills in Verilog/System Verilog with version control knowledge.
  • Understanding Arm-based systems, SoC architecture, and AMBA protocols.
  • Experience with high-speed I/O peripherals (LPDDR, PCIe, Ethernet, USB, HBM) and debugging in simulation and hardware.
  • Proficiency in Tcl, Python, or other scripting languages.

Nice-to-have skills include:

  • Familiarity with FPGA design flow from RTL to timing closure.
  • Understanding of ASIC/SoC prototyping in FPGA.
  • Experience with hardware emulation platforms (Zebu, Veloce, Palladium).
  • Knowledge of programming languages such as assembly, C, or C++.
  • Shell programming in a UNIX environment.
