Contribute algorithm research and optimization, and provide technical mentorship to junior engineers.

Experience Level

Senior-level (experienced). The posting indicates an experienced hire but does not specify years of experience.

Responsibilities

Primary responsibilities include algorithm design, implementation, and cross-team integration.

  • Analyze problem statements and propose effective algorithmic solutions.
  • Research, design, implement, and optimize DSP algorithms.
  • Document methodologies and communicate technical approaches to stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with hardware, embedded software, and system teams to deliver project milestones.
  • Mentor and guide junior engineers and interns on DSP topics.

Requirements

Must-have technical skills and experience.

  • Strong expertise in traditional DSP: time-series analysis, audio/speech processing, image/baseband processing, modulation/demodulation, encoding/decoding.
  • Solid foundation in applied mathematics.
  • Proficient in simulation and modeling tools such as MATLAB, Simulink, and Python.
  • Experience implementing signal processing algorithms on embedded platforms (microcontrollers, microprocessors, FPGAs).
