Senior Engineer, DPG Compute PE Y/Q

Role Summary

Senior technical leader within Micron's DRAM Product Architecture Group responsible for global DRAM speed yield and product health. Works across fabs, test, module, quality, and operations teams to drive faster, reliable DRAM products into manufacturing.

Primary mission: own product health end-to-end for DRAM speed products, guide complex technical decisions, and align cross-site teams to improve yield, quality, and speed performance.

Experience Level

Senior. Minimum: 3+ years of experience in DRAM, semiconductor manufacturing, or product engineering (per job posting).

Responsibilities

Key responsibilities include owning product health, analyzing data, and driving cross-functional execution to improve yield, quality, and speed.

  • Own global product health for DRAM speed products, including yield, quality, and speed performance.
  • Analyze silicon parametric, test, and manufacturing data to identify issues and drive root-cause resolution.
  • Lead yield and quality improvement strategies across NPI, qualification, ramp, and high-volume manufacturing.
  • Align and drive execution across fab, test, module, quality, and operations teams worldwide.
  • Provide clear, data-driven technical recommendations and mentor engineers across sites.

Requirements

Must-have and preferred technical qualifications for the role.

Must-have:

  • 3+ years of experience in DRAM, semiconductor manufacturing, or product engineering.
  • Experience analyzing yield, quality, and test data to resolve product or process issues.
  • Proven ability to lead technical problems across multiple teams and organizations.

Nice-to-have:

  • Experience with common DRAM failure modes and hands-on failure analysis.
  • Background working across fab, backend test, module, or system interfaces.
  • Experience leading yield improvement or product qualification efforts.
  • Demonstrated technical leadership in cross-site or cross-functional environments.

Education Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering, or equivalent practical experience (the posting explicitly allows equivalent practical experience).
