Senior Engineer - ASIC Design Verification
Role Summary
Work on ASIC design verification for IP, block, and subsystem levels on advanced process nodes within Micron's Hyderabad Phoenix Aquila team. Lead verification planning and execution, develop SystemVerilog/UVM testbenches, and collaborate with global domain specialists to achieve product signoff.
Experience Level
Senior-level - typically requires 4+ years of relevant ASIC verification experience.
Responsibilities
Primary responsibilities include verification planning, implementation, and mentoring.
- Create verification plans and drive IP/block/subsystem verification to signoff.
- Develop SystemVerilog/UVM testbenches and verification environments.
- Ensure multi-dimensional verification coverage, including mixed-mode verification.
- Perform RTL debugging, implement scoreboards and assertions, and manage functional and code coverage analysis.
- Mentor and coach junior engineers; collaborate with geographically distributed teams and domain specialists.
- Use Micron-approved AI tools and AI-enabled workflows to improve engineering productivity.
Requirements
Must-have technical skills and professional abilities for immediate contribution.
- Expertise in IP/block/subsystem verification and AMBA protocols (APB, AHB, AXI).
- Proven experience building verification test plans, UVM environments, and testbenches.
- Proficiency in Verilog and SystemVerilog.
- Experience with RTL debugging, scoreboards, assertions, and functional/code coverage analysis.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to work in cross-functional, globally dispersed teams.
- Experience mentoring or leading junior engineers.
Education Requirements
M.S./M.Tech or BS/BE in Electronics.
