Senior Eng CAD Engineering

Role Summary

Provide Technology Computer Aided Design (TCAD) support for the Power Product Line to accelerate technology development and deployment. Use commercial simulation tools to model process flows and device performance, calibrate models to measurements, and work with integration, device, and design teams to optimize technology and ensure manufacturability.

Experience Level

Senior. The posting requests candidates in the early phase of their career and prefers approximately 1–2 years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

Primary responsibilities include simulation, analysis, and cross-functional collaboration to enable device and process decisions.

• Provide TCAD support for the Power Product Line using commercial simulation software.
• Simulate semiconductor process flows and device performance; analyze IV, CV, BV, self-heating, ESD, thermal and mechanical stress effects.
• Perform model calibration against measurements when required.
• Communicate findings and timelines to integration, device, and design engineers; translate process impacts into device-level implications.
• Anticipate integration and process issues and propose mitigation paths.
• Work autonomously to evaluate multiple optimization options and drive technology decisions.
• Follow Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements in all activities.

Requirements

Must-have technical skills and work behaviors.

• Good knowledge of VLSI fabrication processes.
• Strong understanding of semiconductor device physics.
• Practical experience with commercially available TCAD tools.
• Ability to work effectively in a team to solve complex problems.
• Ability to manage priorities and meet project timelines.
• Preferred: approximately 1–2 years of relevant industry experience.

Education Requirements

Master's degree in Electrical Engineering (specified in the posting).
