Role Summary

Lead and execute emulation strategy and pre-silicon validation for complex FPGA-based designs. Work with cross-functional hardware, firmware, and software teams to build and validate emulation models and infrastructure that accelerate bring-up and verification.

Responsibilities

Primary responsibilities include designing, implementing, and improving emulation environments and workflows.

• Define and implement emulation methodologies to accelerate pre-silicon verification and validation cycles.
• Architect, develop, and debug emulation testbenches for complex FPGA designs.
• Integrate emulation environments with hardware and software teams to validate system-level functionality.
• Develop automation frameworks to improve emulation efficiency and repeatability.
• Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks in emulation models and infrastructure.
• Drive continuous improvements in emulation tools, processes, and infrastructure.
• Collaborate with silicon design, verification, and firmware teams to support bring-up and validation of FPGA-based solutions.
• Monitor industry trends and incorporate best practices in FPGA emulation and verification.

Requirements

Must-have technical skills and experience for successful performance in this role.

• 10+ years of experience in emulation, FPGA architecture, or pre-silicon validation.
• Proven experience developing and debugging emulation testbenches and models.
• Strong hardware/software co-design and system integration experience.
• Experience with ARM cores and high-speed protocols such as DDR, Ethernet, and PCIe.
• Experience creating automation frameworks and performance optimization in emulation environments.
• Ability to work cross-functionally with design, verification, firmware, and software teams.

Education Requirements

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronics (or closely related technical field) is specified in the posting; the role also specifies 10+ years of relevant experience.
