Role Summary
Lead Qualcomm's Camera SoC organization in Taiwan, driving end-to-end execution of camera silicon programs and managing cross-functional teams across hardware, emulation, software/firmware, systems engineering, and program management.
Accountable for delivering roadmaps, silicon bring-up, validation, commercialization, and for building organizational capability and operational discipline.
Experience Level
Senior - typically requires ~15+ years in semiconductor/SoC development with at least 8+ years in engineering leadership roles.
Responsibilities
Primary duties include technical and program leadership for Camera SoC development and organizational growth.
- Lead and scale a multidisciplinary Camera SoC organization across hardware, emulation, software, systems, and program management.
- Drive execution of roadmaps, development milestones, silicon bring-up, validation, and product commercialization.
- Partner with global engineering, product management, and business leaders to align resources, priorities, and deliverables.
- Ensure predictable program execution, risk management, quality, and customer commitments.
- Build organizational capability through talent development, hiring, and succession planning.
- Represent the Taiwan Camera SoC organization in executive reviews and strategic planning.
Requirements
Must-have technical and leadership experience to deliver complex SoC programs.
- Extensive semiconductor/SoC development experience with proven delivery of complex silicon programs.
- Demonstrated success leading large, cross-functional engineering teams (hardware, firmware, software, systems, PM).
- Strong technical understanding of SoC development, system validation, software integration, and product execution.
- Experience in program execution, risk management, and aligning cross-functional stakeholders.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Education Requirements
BS/MS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field is listed. Minimum qualifications offer alternatives: Bachelor's degree in Science/Engineering (plus 10+ years ASIC design/verification/validation/integration experience), Master's degree in Science/Engineering (plus 9+ years), or PhD in Science/Engineering (plus 8+ years).
