Role Summary
Lead product strategy for Synopsys ICV focused on established process nodes and their integration with advanced nodes in 3D and chiplet designs. Work across Technical Sales, R&D, and Product Management to define customer-driven product requirements, custom rule development, and go-to-market positioning.
This is a senior individual-contributor role with strong cross-functional influence and responsibility for shaping roadmaps, technical collateral, and customer engagements for the ICV product line.

Responsibilities
Key responsibilities include strategy, customer engagement, and cross-team alignment.
- Define and execute strategies for established-node ICV offerings that align with advanced-node and 3D/chiplet requirements.
- Gather customer and sales feedback to translate custom and market requirements into product roadmaps and technical collateral.
- Train and enable Technical Sales on customization techniques and differentiated value propositions.
- Collaborate with R&D and product teams to ensure ICV roadmaps cover market needs and to advise on coding LVS/DRM elements into design kits.
- Represent ICV in customer and ecosystem engagements to strengthen Synopsys positioning in the 3D/chiplet and established-node markets.
- Support sales in complex partnership and agreement discussions across foundries, fabless companies, and IP vendors.
Requirements
Must-have technical skills, experience, and behavioral traits.
- Extensive experience in EDA and the semiconductor ecosystem, including foundry and PDK/DRC processes; deep domain knowledge of DRC functions and rules.
- Proven track record influencing senior customer management and internal stakeholders to distinguish customer-specific needs from market requirements.
- Established industry relationships across foundries, fabless companies, and IP vendors relevant to established and advanced nodes.
- Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills; able to train and influence Technical Sales and internal teams.
- Demonstrated ability to drive results independently and manage multiple initiatives under time pressure.
- Ability to travel at least 30% of the time.
- Nice-to-have: prior work specifically addressing 3D/chiplet design challenges and multi-node integration.
Education Requirements
BS or MS in Electrical Engineering or Device Physics required. PhD or MBA is desired.
