Responsibilities
The position owns worldwide test hardware strategy, delivery, supplier management, and cross-functional coordination across development and production.
- Establish and lead a unified global hardware engineering team with ownership of development, ordering, repair, and capacity ramps.
- Define and execute test-hardware strategy (ATE loadboards, probe cards, sockets, change kits) for NPI and production.
- Drive loadboard design strategy including schematic/layout, SI/PI, and simulation requirements.
- Manage hardware supplier selection and relationships; qualify and oversee vendors.
- Coordinate with Test Engineering, Product/Design Engineering and Supply Chain to ensure availability and manufacturability.

Requirements
Core technical and leadership qualifications required to perform the role.
Must-have
- Hands-on experience with ATE hardware design and delivery (loadboards, probe cards, sockets, handler kits).
- Proven track record leading hardware teams through NPI and volume production in the semiconductor industry.
- SI/PI expertise for high-speed designs (connectivity, processor, ASIC, AI applications) and ability to set simulation requirements.
- Understanding of manufacturability and build processes for PCBs, MLO, and probe heads; thermal and mechanical engineering oversight for complex packages.
- Supplier management experience and strong existing relationships with probe card, loadboard and socket vendors.
- Experience with CAPEX/OPEX ownership, budget forecasting, and cross-functional planning with Supply Chain.
- Demonstrated ability to build and lead managers and engineering teams across multiple international sites.
