Responsibilities
Accountable for foundry operations, yield engineering, and execution across development and production.
- Own executive-level business and technical relationships with external foundry partners.
- Manage vendor performance metrics (cycle time, delivery reliability, excursion control).
- Drive systematic yield analysis, failure analysis, and product engineering initiatives.
- Collaborate with foundry engineers to identify, contain, and resolve yield excursions.
- Implement statistical process control (SPC) data monitoring to improve wafer profitability.
- Direct strategies for foundry capacity expansion, tool planning, fab transfers, and qualification.
- Validate process matching across foundries and minimize supply-chain disruption during transfers.
- Oversee test-chip and New Product Introduction (NPI) tape-out pipeline and schedule alignment.
- Mitigate technical risks during critical tape-out phases to prevent schedule slips.

- 15β20 years of experience in semiconductor engineering, including leadership in foundry operations or yield engineering.
- Proven hands-on experience driving and delivering complex programs at Fabless companies or foundries.
- Track record executing fab matching, process KPI matching, and qualification activities.
- Experience managing vendor performance and coordinating cross-functional stakeholders.
- Strong change-management skills and ability to implement process improvements.
- Professional communication and negotiation skills for executive and customer-facing meetings.
- Motivated, career-driven, and able to learn emerging technologies.
Education Requirements
