Senior Director, Analog Engineering
Role Summary
Lead the analog engineering organization responsible for development and delivery of analog and mixed-signal IP and silicon features. Work with product management, digital design, verification, test and manufacturing teams to define architecture, execution plans, and roadmaps. Manage engineering managers and senior individual contributors to meet performance, quality, schedule, and cost targets.
Experience Level
Senior — executive leadership role. Typically requires extensive analog/mixed-signal IC design experience and multi-year people-management and product-delivery responsibility.
Responsibilities
Key responsibilities include:
- Define technical strategy and roadmap for analog IP and mixed-signal subsystems.
- Lead, mentor, and grow engineering managers and individual contributors.
- Drive architecture, design, verification, and silicon bring-up to meet product goals.
- Coordinate cross-functionally with product management, digital teams, test, and manufacturing.
- Establish resourcing, schedules, deliverables, and manage program risks and trade-offs.
- Recruit and retain senior analog engineering talent and represent the organization to stakeholders.
Requirements
Minimal qualifications and preferred skills:
- Proven leadership delivering analog or mixed-signal IP and silicon products at scale.
- Deep expertise in analog/mixed-signal design, verification methodologies, and silicon bring-up.
- Experience working with foundries, process technologies, and device characterization.
- Strong program management, cross-functional collaboration, and communication skills.
- Nice-to-have: experience in FPGA or programmable-logic markets and product cycles.
