Senior Digital Verification Engineer (PCIe/CXL)
Role Summary
Responsible for pre-silicon RTL verification of PCIe and CXL controller SoftIP within the PCIe Express IP Products team in Bengaluru. Primary tasks include developing and executing verification testbenches, sequences, and regressions to validate controller RTL on leading-edge PCIe/CXL technologies.
Reports to onsite verification management; full-time position with a hybrid onsite/remote schedule (majority onsite).
Experience Level
Senior — approximately 4–6 years of relevant HDL design and verification experience.
Responsibilities
Key responsibilities include:
- Design and implement SystemVerilog/UVM testbenches and verification sequences for controller features.
- Plan and implement functional coverage, write coverage items, and augment test suites to meet coverage goals.
- Develop and run regression tests; monitor results; debug and triage failures in the verification environment and controller RTL.
- Create and maintain verification environment scripts and automation tools.
- Collaborate with design and verification teams to identify and resolve issues.
Requirements
Must-have and preferred technical skills:
- Must have: Strong proficiency in SystemVerilog/UVM and Verilog/SystemVerilog RTL design and verification.
- Must have: Proven experience with PCI Express controller functionality and protocol.
- Must have: Hands-on experience in RTL verification, testbench development, and regression methodologies.
- Nice to have: Experience with Python and TCL for verification scripting and automation.
Education Requirements
Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field is required.
