Senior Digital IC Design Engineer

Role Summary

Responsible for digital architecture, block- and chip-level RTL design and implementation, and verification for optical control mixed-signal ICs used in AI datacenter applications. Works within a cross-disciplinary team including analog, mixed-signal, and systems engineers to deliver production-ready silicon.

Experience Level

Senior-level. Candidate should have 3+ years of hands-on digital design experience for complex SoC designs.

Responsibilities

Key responsibilities include design, implementation, and verification of digital blocks and system integration.

• Participate in the design and development of mixed-signal IC products.
• Perform block-level and chip-level RTL design and implementation.
• Design digital signal-processing blocks from algorithm to hardware realization.
• Define digital architectures based on product specifications.
• Participate in block- and chip-level verification activities.
• Contribute to block- and system-level digital/mixed-signal testbench development.
• Collaborate with analog, mixed-signal, and system teams to integrate digital functions into the full product.

Requirements

Must-have technical skills and experience; plus items indicate preferred or helpful skills.

• 3+ years of practical experience in digital design for complex SoC designs.
• Solid knowledge of digital logic design and implementation.
• Familiarity with digital verification methodologies and tools.
• Strong problem-solving ability, self-motivation, and ability to work effectively in a team.
• Good spoken and written English communication skills.
• Nice-to-have: experience or awareness of AI-assisted design tools, proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Perl, Tcl, C Shell), and exposure to mixed-signal design and verification.

Education Requirements

M.S. or Ph.D. in Microelectronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field (Microelectronics/EE or related technical discipline) was requested in the source posting.
