Senior Digital Design Engineer

Role Summary

The Senior Digital Design Engineer will drive the digital design aspects for complex mixed-signal products, ensuring the delivery of high-performance and low power products. This role includes architecting digital modules, executing design strategies, and providing leadership within a cross-functional team.

Experience Level

Mid-level; 3 to 10 years of experience in digital design.

Responsibilities

The key responsibilities for this role include:

  • Drive all aspects of digital design including RTL, DFT, Synthesis, STA, and PnR.
  • Plan design development strategies to meet product goals.
  • Define architecture and micro-architecture for digital modules.
  • Interface with customers and lead technical discussions.
  • Manage daily design activities for both front-end and back-end design.
  • Work closely with verification functions for thorough chip verification.
  • Support silicon validation and customer application debug needs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams for successful product development.

Requirements

The requirements for this position include:

  • Must-Haves:
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Electronics and Communication Engineering.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in IP-level and SoC-level Digital Design.
  • Experience with low power and area constraint design methodologies.
  • Strong communication skills for cross-functional interactions.
  • Experience managing CDC and RDC challenges.
  • Knowledge of static timing analysis and DFT.
  • Nice-to-Haves:
  • Experience with PMIC-related digital IP/chip design.
  • Basic knowledge of Mixed-Signal design and verification.
  • Ability to innovate design methodologies and work with EDA teams.

Education Requirements

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Electronics and Communication Engineering is required.
