Senior Digital Design Engineer

Role Summary

Lead block-level digital design and verification for complex mixed-signal products at Analog Devices' Bangalore site. Responsible for achieving timing closure, optimizing power, and delivering block-level architecture while mentoring junior engineers and working with customers and cross-functional teams.

Experience Level

Senior β€” typically 5–8 years of relevant digital design engineering experience.

Responsibilities

Primary responsibilities include:

  • Lead block-level digital design and verification activities.
  • Develop and implement complex digital systems focused on performance.
  • Ensure timing closure for critical design blocks.
  • Optimize digital designs for power efficiency.
  • Integrate digital blocks within analog/mixed-signal environments.
  • Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior engineers.
  • Interface with customers to gather requirements and present technical solutions.
  • Drive cross-functional collaboration to ensure cohesive system design.

Requirements

Must-have technical skills and experience:

  • Advanced expertise in complex digital circuit design and implementation.
  • Proven ability to achieve timing closure on complex designs.
  • Practical experience in power optimization for digital blocks.
  • Experience integrating digital designs in mixed-signal environments.
  • Competence in block-level digital architecture design and implementation.
  • Thorough understanding of digital verification methodologies and tools.
  • Willingness to travel up to approximately 10%.

Education Requirements

Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
