Senior Digital Design Engineer

Role Summary

Join the Advanced Circuits and Power Solutions team to deliver custom mixed-signal IC systems for high-volume personal electronics customers. The role leads digital design work across RTL, DFT, synthesis, static timing analysis, and place-and-route for highly integrated products.

The position involves close collaboration with analog, verification, physical design, test, and system teams, and direct technical engagement with key customers to meet aggressive performance, power, and area targets.

Experience Level

Senior - minimum 5 years of relevant digital IC design experience.

Responsibilities

Execute and lead end-to-end digital design efforts and provide technical leadership across projects.

• Drive digital design flow: RTL development, DFT, synthesis, STA, and PnR for mixed-signal products.
• Define development strategies to meet schedule and PPA (performance, power, area) goals.
• Specify top-level architecture and detailed micro-architecture for digital sub-modules.
• Collaborate with AMS/DMS verification teams for pre-silicon verification and functional coverage.
• Support silicon validation, test program development, and application-level debugging post-silicon.
• Mentor engineers, manage day-to-day design issues, and participate in high-level technical discussions with customers and stakeholders.
• Coordinate cross-functionally with System, Analog, Physical Design, and Test teams for integrated product delivery.

Requirements

Must-have technical skills and experience.

• At least 5 years of relevant digital design experience.
• Thorough understanding of digital logic design.
• Familiarity with Verilog and simulation tools.
• Understanding of analog functionality and exposure to analog IC design methods.
• Systematic problem-solving and debugging approach.

Preferred / nice-to-have:

• Experience with SystemVerilog.
• Strong analytical, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Proven ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams and to manage time to meet project schedules.
• Demonstrated ability to build influential technical relationships and adapt in fast-paced environments.
